McCorvey was Sly Croom's OC at MSU. McCorvey wasn't a success running the offense at MSU. However, he does have a solid resume as a positions coach, so hopefully he'll be a good hire.

Of course, this probably means that those that hoped we would hire Steve Taneyhill as our QB coach are out of luck, as Spurrier Jr. will take over the QBs.

Heh...

Well, his name may not be worth a whole lot right now, but he has been successful as a positions coach. Some people are great positions coaches but just aren’t cut out for coordinator.
