Live-blogging Les Miles
4:43 p.m. Les seems worried that somebody might actually try to make off with the NC trophy. He wants to re-assert his ownership. "We're not defending it; it's there."
4:47 p.m. Miles is apparently calling roll. C&F thinks he's named every guy on the depth chart.
4:48 p.m. Miles says the road games "will be very challenging," including South Carolina when he lists them. Noteworthy.
4:54 p.m. Miles says he wishes Perrilloux the best. Offers to give him the numbers for some casinoes in Jacksonville. (C&F realizes he should admit making the last sentence up, because Miles could actually say something like that.)
4:57 p.m. Miles is either having trouble hearing the questions or stalling for time so he can put a little more thought than usual into his comments. He keeps asking for people to repeat themselves.
5:01 p.m. High pay for head coaches is symbolic of "capitalism and democracy." So, pay all coaches seven figures or the terrorists will win.
5:05 p.m. Somebody asks Miles if the OT rule is good. "I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about it." Judging from last year's results, that's fairly obvious.
5:14 p.m. Les Miles is wandering around looking for an answer to the playoff question. "I'm not necessarily in favor of a full-blown playoff system." He does favor "tweaking," which to him includes a Plus-One.
"This year, it appeared to me obviously, that it turned out okay." Expediency uber alles.
5:19 p.m. Les Miles is done. Have a great day!

But last years's results were 0-2 and the only two games LSU lost
