I noticed a link to these interesting statistics on the NC State blog Section Six. We ranked 104th with 3,838 miles, while Fresno State ranked first with a whopping 18,190 miles. I guess you could either say that we're environmentally conscientious or afraid to leave the southeast. Probably due to their game in Tempe, Georgia was the first SEC team ranked at 47, lending some credence to the idea that SEC teams don't travel. Not that any reasonable person should have a problem with that.
