SEC Hoops Power Poll Ballot: Week Three
Auburn played the Cats tough last night in Lexington, but Kentucky still got to 4-0 in SEC play. If they beat Alabama this weekend, they should be ranked next week.
2. LSU
After losing to Alabama in their SEC opener, the Tigers have heated up significantly with three convincing wins, the last over a good MSU team.
3. Tennessee
The Vols bounced back with a convincing win at Vanderbilt from a loss to Jodi Me, I mean Kentucky, and a close call against South Carolina.
4. Florida
The Gators lost last night to South Carolina, but they still own a more impressive record than the Gamecocks.
5. South Carolina
South Carolina bounced back with a stirring win over Florida after losing to LSU and Tennessee on the road.
6. Vanderbilt
Tough loss to Tennessee, but they still appear to be a solid team.
7. Mississippi State
Took a pounding against streaking LSU, but still looking good in the Western Division.
8. Auburn
Playing better than expected. Took Kentucky deep into the game last night. Can Jeff Lebo win a few games to save his job?
9. Arkansas
After three straight losses, those wins over Oklahoma and Texas seem so long ago.
10. Alabama
Got a win against Ole Miss last night, but Mark Gottfried is a dead man walking.
11. Ole Miss
A loss to Alabama last night continues a nightmare season for the Rebels.
12. UGA
Not much to say here.

Power Poll
I’d say you have a good take on the conference so far. This is an overall down year for the SEC. Clearly no powerhouse. UK at the top and they do not have a PG to date. Great win by the Cocks over the Gators.
Yeah, can't really say I like any of these teams' chances in the NCAAs...
Each team is flawed in some way. UK lacks a PG, Florida and Carolina lack post presence, etc. On paper, Tennessee looks like a good team, but the product they’re putting out is not good.

Tennessee
The Vols have the pieces but can’t seem to put it all together. Very sporadic performances throughout the current season. Lack of a consistent outside threat will be their Achilles heal.
