After 11 years, Gottfried has been forced to resign at Bama. Gottfried had success at times, but his past few years have ended far below expectations.

We play Bama in Tuscaloosa in February. Hard to know how this will affect them. Sometimes teams wilt in these situations, sometimes they get it together. One thing to keep in mind is that Bama will likely compete with UGA for a new coach during the off-season. As we have to play UGA twice a year, let's hope that Bama gets the better prospect.
