#7 Lady Gamecocks to take on Auburn Friday
Don't look now, but South Carolina's women's soccer team is ranked #7 in the nation. The Lady Gamecocks are off to the best start in school history with an 11-0-1 record. On Friday they will take on Auburn at Stone Stadium as part of the Senior Night festivities. If you live in the Columbia area and are looking for something to Friday night, I'd recommend heading over to Stone Stadium to watch the most successful Gamecocks team thus far this year.

The Lady Gamecocks
have one of the top keepers in the nation. I think she has eight shutouts so far, and has given up only two goals.
The tie (in their last game at Miss State) came in an absolute downpour that made it impossible to string together passes. According to the game report, a through ball to a streaking onside Carolina attacker literally stopped in a puddle several yards short of it’s destination.

They now sit at 12-0-1.
