Five Questions that Will Shape SEC Hoops. The thing for us is still Devan Downey's situation, the big thing in the conference is the John Wall situation (if he signs with Kentucky, the 'Cats should be preseason top 15 nationally, IMO), and the weirdest story is the one about Renardo Sidney. Sidney is a former Southern Cal commit that is now with Mississippi State. The Trojans apparently backed off Sidney for undisclosed reasons, and it sounds like there's something sketchy about the kid. Let's be up front here: if Southern Cal backed off the guy because he's NCAA trouble, BUYER BEWARE. That's all I have to say about that.
