Wednesday News and Notes

The biggest news today for USC fans is that two signees, Chris Owens and Will Myers, were chosen, respectively, in the first and third rounds of the MLB draft. Pitcher Sam Dyson, who was projected to go on the first day, has not been picked yet.

A couple of others tidbits:

• Ex-Odom assistant Ken Potosnak gets job at Auburn.
  
• Tim Floyd resigns at Southern Cal. Is the hammer about to come down on Trojans athletics? The NCAA sure does seem to take it's time while investigating this program.
