Gamecock WR Alshon Jeffery has been named one of ten national semifinalists for The Biletnikoff Award, given annually to college football's top receiver.

What do you think his chances are? AJ had to be the preseason favorite, but you have to think the 4 games he missed will be a bit of a burden. Alshon has a helluva highlight reel for voters to take in, that’s for sure. Maybe 2 or 3 TD nabs against Troy would bolster his chances!

I think Blackmon from Oklahoma St. is a shoe-in for this award.
Blackmon has hauled in about 1400 yards and hasn’t had a game with less than 120 or so. I could see Alshon being runner-up, though.
