When SC wins and the kitties lose, it is a beautiful day! Knew that GT would wear out the pathetic cu d. Some observations on the UT win. Wilds, enough said. The oline did a better job of opening creases for Wilds but was horrible at pass protection and I think a large reason why the HBC went conservative. I think Shaw holds the ball too long and does not understand the concept of chuck the ball in the stands to avoid losing yards, it was the oline that failed to pass protect, did anyone notice that UT got pressure on Shaw with three man fronts. Also, can't throw a long ball when the qb is running for his life. Secondly, to all of the Spurrier play call doubters-the announcers noted that Spurriers in game adjustments were what won the game and that HBC is still one of the best coaches in the nation. They are right. Spurrier wins with what he has, a fantastic defense, a solid running game, and a qb to make a play every now and then. We are not going to blow anyone out with this team, especially with our oline. Lastly, the dline will have to perform better v. the hogs. We got very little pressure on the ut qbs. EJ kept the pressure to mainly 4 man fronts with an occasional blitz. We will have to do better next week and get pressure on the hogs qb, or it will be a long day.
USC wins, enough said. It's a Beautiful Day!
