Judging by the trolls from uga nation lurking in our blog and baiting us with their bs, especially myself, demonstrates the defensiveness of their base and the fear of a new order in the east. First I must address the counterfactual history being presented by those who think that uga is playing better and by implication a better team than we are now and would beat us if we could play, etc., etc, blah, blah. We played and we won, on their turf, that is a fact. We will NEVER know if uga is better at this point because we can't play again unless we meet in a bowl, not possible. We won, end of conversation. They should have played better v. us. We should have played better v. au. They are going to the SECCG end of conversation. Go LSU.

More importantly, I thinik there is a fear that USC is here to stay. No we are not LSU or Alabama, however, we are going to be a consistent threat to win the east year in and out, like never before. David Cloninger expressed concerns about next season, but I think the deficiencies this year can be addressed, namely the offensive line, and hopefully it can only get better. We will lose some valuable seniors but with another solid recruiting year and with what we already have, I like our chances, especially with the big red neck machine from athens coming to visit us next year. People outside of Gamecock Nation have a difficult time accepting this given our history, so be it, but as long time suffering fans we should get used to the success and the derision. Sorry so long winded.
