I've tried to keep a positive attitude.   I've tried to give praise where praise is due.  

But we lost to Elon last night.  And we lost ugly.

“We didn’t make shots,” USC coach Darrin Horn said. “That’s obviously something that’s going to happen some nights.”

No, Coach.  With all due respect, we just got beat by a SoCon team.  Again.  Like we did last year.   Like we did the year before that. 

No Gamecock scored in double figures (one bright spot:  Gill almost had a double-double 9 pts, 9 blocks in 28 minutes - but then it must be noted he went an ice-cold1-11 from the arc).  We were 0-12 from three-point range in the first half; and a morbid 3-27 for the game.   We went 10-17 from the stripe. 

Gill is going to be a good player.   He will have better nights.   But it's not his fault we lost last night.
