Those Dastardly Georgia Bulldogs Got The Weakest Schedule
In the conference, according to some data I saw st GTP. Eat your heart out Gamecocks.
A few attempts at reasonable thought. Alabama is the SEC’s golden child; maybe they wanted to dump an up and coming Georgia as much as Georgia wanted rid of Bama. Most years since 1992, Auburn has been a tougher nut than Arky as permanent cross rival; SC caught an Arky up and Aubie suck these last 2 years. Don’t blame Hyman for letting Georgia skate, but blame him loads for your October schedule. Oy. Kinda makes ya long for the Orange crush Novembers of yore.

That's a fair point re: Alabama wanting to evade UGA.
They do have a pretty weak East schedule.

How can schedules be weak or strong
without knowing how weak or strong the teams are? That stuff is best done after the season plays out so we actually know who’s strong and who’s weak.

I'm willing to bet you guys got a good deal with getting to play Ole Miss instead of 'Bama.
And that we would have been better of against Miss. St. than LSU. That said, you have a point.

I don't disagree there
but was more referring to the schedules as a whole and the already rising meme of Georgia doesn’t play anybody in 2012, than those two specific games.
Although, maybe Ole Miss hit the jackpot with Freeze, and Bama crumbles once Saban replaces Mack Brown on january 12th (oh how I want this part to happen, just to sit back and enjoy the schadenfreude).

That's all fair enough.
I would love to see the Saban fallout, too. One thing about ’Bama is that the lows are as explosive as the highs, so it would be great to see Saban bolt for anyone who dislikes ’Bama, which is basically anyone who dislikes evil.

I would love to see Saban jump to Texas
It would certainly be an easier path to the title game, and they are possibly the only school that would be willing to go to the mats to outbid Alabama.

Yeah, it's hard to see a school outbidding 'Bama, but Texas could do it.

Texas also provides an easier path to the national title each year. Not sure how much that matters to Saban.

5-5 for Missouri and 6-4 for Aggies next year?
Welcome to the SEC
Braves.
Falcons.
Gamecocks.
So my point all along has been that the UGA-USC game is usually a premier matchup in the second week.
The only reason we aren’t shown on CBS is because of the US Open (tennis) coverage on CBS. And with this slate we will be up against Florida-LSU, and Auburn-Arkansas. Even with UGA and USC both hopefully besting Vanderbilt and Missouri, there is a chance for CBS and other outlets to favor bigger brand name match-ups. LSU will likely still be a top 5 team at this point. And Arkansas has a real chance to be ranked higher than UGA and USC.
Thanks a lot.
