It was interesting to read Commissioner Slive's interview on the ESPN website. It can be read in its entirety here: Slive Interview.
The part I want to focus on here, is the part about the South Carolina investigation by the NCAA.
What are your thoughts on the ongoing NCAA investigations at South Carolina and Tennessee?
MS: I can’t comment too much on them, but the South Carolina matter was an administrative error and not one that rises to a level that we would be overly concerned about.
All in all, this points to something that isn't going to be a big deal for South Carolina. I think the fact that we haven't heard anything for a while and that all the players involved (sans Weslye Saunders, of course) were cleared by the NCAA to play last year speaks for itself as well. You never know, though, but I am not to worried about it. Despite what That Other School's fans would like to believe.
