Carolina drops a close one Sunday and Ole Miss takes the series. Shaky defense and pitching miscues hurt Carolina this weekend, as the defense committed a handful of errors and the pitching staff beaned a few batters and had some passed balls. These miscues tended to come at bad times.
The loss is a costly one for Carolina, as it puts us a game behind Vandy and tied with Florida in the SEC standings. The onus is now on Carolina to perform extremely well over the remaining series against Arkansas and Alabama if it's to win the SEC regular-season championship.

Good for Jasper
That is certainly an effective way to use your time if you can’t even get in the NFL facilities to work out, due to the lockout. But seriously congrats to him and also to Garcia for graduating.
With or without the NFL it will help more than hurt to have a degree. Jasper graduating reminds me of guys like Emmitt Smith that graduated after going pro.

I was also impressed that he graduated in African-American Studies, as opposed to one of the standard football majors.
