The Virginia Cavaliers are expected to trot out junior RHP Will Roberts (11-1, 1.58 ERA) against the Gamecocks tonight when the two teams face off at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha at 7:00 p.m. EST on ESPN.  Roberts has a mid-to-high 80s fastball, hits his spots, and has a nice slider.  He's thrown three complete games in 2011, and has K'd 91 batters while only walking 13 in 102.1 innings pitched.  Roberts was a 5th round (159th overall) choice of the Cleveland Indians and boasts an 18-1 record as a collegian.  Most impressively, Roberts threw what is only the eighth perfect game in NCAA history against George Washington earlier this season.  He is a NCBWA Second Team All-American.
