In the last few days, I have seen fans of multiple "football schools" say things like the West Virginia fan who admits:
I want no part of an expanded SEC gauntlet. ACC or B10 is fine. (emphasis added)
I've read similar confessions from fans of Texas A&M, Oklahoma, FSU (besides Bobby Bowden), and Clemson. These same fans will construct elaborate arguments attempting to disprove SEC superiority as soon as the season rolls around, but it still warms my hear to be reminded that deep down, "Even the demons believe, and tremble with fear.
