Gamecock Baseball

After an 0-3 start in SEC hoops, you're going to need some diamond dish. This is the best I could do on short notice:

While you're at CBD, check out Bryan Foley's top 100 players countdown- Matt Price was number 35 and Christian Walker was number 41. Too low? Just right? We will definitely keep an eye peeled on this series going forward.

Another South Carolinian

staying home. Another big recruit, literally, coming to Columbia. Welcome Mr Park and Go Cocks!

247 and Scout

have him as a 4 star. Rivals has not ranked him, but notes he has a 3.4 GPA.

This is like Brock Stadnik or Brandon Shell shutting down their recruiting eight months early and walking into camp; this is the kind of talent we’d be chewing on our fingernails hoping to get next National Signing Day (2013).

Plus, with that kind of GPA, there’s a possibility he could be an early enrollee. Wilmy is right …this is literally and figuratively huge. A commitment like this serves notice to other top in-state guys. Elliot must be giddy. A guy like this might not even need to redshirt if we get him to spring 2013 spring camp … he literally plugs right into the guard rotation out of the box, and a tackle spot as a true sophomore.

Coming so close on the heels of Mike Davis, this is one of the best recruiting weekends we’ve ever had.

hope they're good buds with each other

because that would be gi-normous. King is unranked by Rivals but reports he has “high” interest in the Cocks and medium interest in the others on his offer sheet.

On the other hand, 247 has him a 4 star with “cool” interest across the board.

Finally, Scout hasn’t gotten around to awarding him any stars yet, but says he has “medium” interest in all his offers.
