Kornblut/AJC: On the recruiting front, the good news is that Mike Davis will not visit Clemson. The bad news is that DE Josh Dawson will not visit Carolina, and will pick between Georgia and Vanderbilt; that makes Whammy 0-3 on our eleventh-hour push to get another DE in the 2012 class. Worse news is that we also lost out on DB Chris Moody, who committed to Vanderbilt while on an official visit in Nashville this weekend; the word is that Franklin apparently told Moody that he might play quarterback for the 'Dores; Moody was scheduled to take an official visit to USC next weekend, but that may be cancelled.

Well, with our lack of depth at the DE position, the health of Clowney and Taylor are going to be key. We may have to depend a lot more on the offense to win games.
