Quinshad Davis: Has eliminated USC from consideration.

I suspected this yesterday when reports came out that Steve Spurrier, Jr. had checked in with Notre Dame commitment Chris Brown of Hanahan. According to Quinshad's coach, Dan Jones: "[Davis] just told them he wasn't going to sign with them." It looks like it's between UNC, UT and Wake Forest. My hunch is he likes the Deacs.

We are loaded at wr and with Shaq coming in and all of the others on the roster, this just does not seem like a big deal. We need to address other areas including de. Hope goes to WF.

its a bit disappointing, but it’s not a big deal all things considered. We have a great class. Unless there’s some stealth prospect out there, I suppose we’ll go ahead and forfeit a scholly as part of our Whitney/SAM atonement (don’t get me started on how bad that looks to say we’ll cut a scholly if we can’t find a good enough recruit – even though we’ve been trying like heck to give it away).
