TDF - "Remember what the dormouse said; Feed your head, feed your head."

Gamecock Baseball

GoGamecocks: Three for USC? It won’t be easy.

Greenville News: USC begins quest for three-peat. (It was free at the time I posted this).

Gamecock Central: Scott Hood writes that Gamecocks Reload in Recruiting. While you're there, check out the Photos of Carolina Stadium.

GoUpstate: A closer look at USC's captains for the upcoming season.

Gamecocksonline: South Carolina Ranked No. 2 In USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll. The direct link to the poll, released yesterday, is here.

Sports Talk Radio: SportsTalk Rewind 1.26.11: USC Pitching Coach Jerry Meyers (AUDIO).

Ron Morris: Tanner back at work after honor roll.

Gamecock Football

Bleacher Report: Flounder profiles 5 Seniors Who Must Step Up in 2012.

Gamecock Central: Scott Hood runs down 5 position battles to watch in 2012.

ESPN SEC Blog: Ed thinks USC may still be pursuing Ty McCord. I tend to agree, however, with the 'experts' that Ed consulted who think that USC has pretty much closed the books on 2012.

SB Nation: Bud Elliot explains the moral of the story behind the Dabo Swinney-James Davis pillow fight.

CBS Sports: SEC Signing Day Overview. Guess who author Bryan Fischer thinks has the most underrated class?

A Linkucopia awaits after The Jump, including basketball, Olympic Sports and the Loose Feed.

Lady Gamecock Basketball

Gamecock Central: David Cloninger's story - Sutton, Grant roll Rebels. Also check out his WBB SEC Tournament Watch.

GoGamecocks: Andrew Shain - 3s add up to important win for Gamecocks.

Gamecocksonline: Hot Shooting Delivers 61-43 Win Over Ole Miss.

The Daily Gamecock: Isabelle Kurshudyan - South Carolina steamrolls Ole Miss at home.

Gamecock Basketball

Gamecock Central: Hoops Extra: Crashing the Boards.

The Big Spur: John Wittle recaps Carolina's win over Alabama.

isportsweb: Tide Hits Rock Bottom. John Mitchell thinks this loss to Carolina will hurt the Crimson Tide at NCAA selection time. Hard quote for a Gamecock fan to read: "To be honest, with as small as the crowd was at Colonial Life Arena, it’s hard to even justify calling it a road game. It certainly wasn’t a hostile environment." Ouch. He also nails Darrin Horn's offense: "For most of the night, South Carolina’s best offense was throwing up a rushed three-point shot, and then cleaning up the offensive glass." Yep, that's pretty much it.

Gamecock Olympic Sports

The Daily Gamecock: Men's Tennis - USC to test No. 3 recruiting class this weekend. Track - Gamecocks prepare for McCravy Classic. Swimming & Diving - Swimming and diving prepares to host East Carolina and Vanderbilt.

Gamecocksonline: Softball- South Carolina Softball Announces 2012 Schedule. Women's tennis - Coach Elkins Previews the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.

Loose Feed

TRC: Tbone shish-kabobs, bar-b-ques and then masticates our friends from Pickens County - then he really lets them have it. I wish I had a better feel for what Tbone feels about Tiger Town in his heart. -sarc-

Spurs Up: PGA TOUR's Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey Shows His Gamecock Pride.

AJC: Look who is playing hardball with recruits. The Yellow Jackets are among the vanguard of the holier-than-thou recruiting crowd, but they've pulled one scholarship already from one of their earliest commitments and now they're threatening to pull another to keep a kid from visiting Miami. Frankly, this is much worse to my mind than what Saban did with Justin Taylor - yet Johnson is considered among the angels. The double-standard is nauseating.

CBS Sports: The Big 12 still looking to expand.

Times Free Press: Catching up with Fat Phil. I bet he misses the HBC most of all.

Team Speed Kills: Year2 posts a SEC Recruiting Update.

ESPN: The sad story behind the de-commitment of offensive lineman Chester Brown. I don't understand the problem, since Chester's family says they emigrated to the U.S. legally then I don't know why a delay in obtaining the paperwork which UGA requires means Chester needs to de-commit.

Mr. SEC: The Swiper gets swiped. Well, the say turn about is fair play. And no one tries to flip others' recruits more than Petrino, so it's amusing to see him get shown up by James Franklin. I'm wondering, however, if Franklin is going to have anyone to talk to at the next SEC coaches confab.
