Another week, another marquee matchup in the SEC as South Carolina and LSU are set to square off in a top ten showdown. When the Gamecocks roll into Baton Rouge to take on the Tigers Saturday night, the matchup will have big time standings implications both on and off the field. On the field, South Carolina will be looking to keep the good times rolling after handling SEC rival Georgia last weekend and soaring to #3 in the nation. Meanwhile, LSU suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of conference foe Florida and is looking to avoid a two game skid.
Off the field? South Carolina’s Cocky and LSU’s Mike the Tiger face off in this week’s featured matchup of the Capital One Mascot Challenge. Cocky is coming off a huge win of his own. After taking down former #1 Sebastian the Ibis of Miami in last week’s matchup, Cocky is perched at the top of the standings as the only undefeated competitor left in challenge. In the opposite corner, Mike the Tiger, fresh off a big win over Maryland’s Testudo, is looking to claw his way up the ranks after an inconsistent 2-3 start.
Will Cocky and the Gamecock’s continue to roll through their opponents, or will Mike and LSU bring the party in Columbia to a halt? Fans will determine one outcome by voting via:

The overall winner of the Capital One Mascot Challenge will be named Capital One Mascot of the Year and receive $20,000 towards its school’s mascot program. Do your part to make sure Cocky stays on his current roll.
