1. Rank USC, Georgia, and Mississippi St.
This is probably academic, as State gets its chance to prove its mettle against Alabama this coming weekend. If the Bulldogs even lose close in that game, I'll be likely to take more stock in them. Given their lack of quality wins, though, it's hard for me to see them as being a great team yet (wait-and-see approach), or even to vote them ahead of USC and UGA, despite those two teams' flaws. However, MSU does seem to be playing a bit better lately (although undefeated, they've had a couple of ugly wins against subpar competition), and it will be interesting to see if they have anything for Alabama.
2. Rank these teams: Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee.
The Commodores beat Auburn and appear to be headed back in the direction of a potential bowl berth. Arkansas and Ole Miss had off weeks after good play a week ago. Tennessee has a horrible record, but they're a tough team to figure out because they've played a brutal schedule. They're likely not as bad as they seem. How would you rank this group?
