Spurrier

So, I realize Spurrier has turned our program around, but do you guys think he will ever take it to the elite level?

It seems we have caught up to Georgia and Florida mostly, but there still seems to be a gap between us and LSU/Alabama. I'm not saying that those teams don't have a gap on a lot of teams, but I just want to make it to the promised land so badly.

I grew up in Auburn, but now live in Columbia, and it just frustrates me that Auburn can "get" a transcendental player like Newton and win a National Title. I think Spurrier is one great QB away from winning a national title. Connor Shaw is certainly good, but he has to have a good, healthy RB like Lattimore around. Maybe with a better schedule, this team can possibly win a title.
