1. Kentucky Wildcats

Simply the best, not only in the conference but the entire nation.

2. Florida Gators

Anyone wondering whether the Gators could handle the road now have their answer. Donovan's team pounded Arkansas in Bud Walton Arena, where the Hogs were previously undefeated.

3. Vanderbilt Commodores

Playing well lately. Won two on the road this week, including 102-76 win over Ole Miss.

4. Mississippi St. Bulldogs

Season is quickly beginning to unravel. They're going to find themselves on the wrong side of the bubble if they don't get it together.

5. Alabama Crimson Tide

Nice win over Tennessee. Outside shot at the tourney if they can finish strong.

6. LSU Tigers

Solid NIT team, but would probably need to win out for an NCAA berth.

7. Arkansas Razorbacks

Needed to beat Florida at home to keep NCAA hopes alive. Didn't work out too well. Like LSU, would need to win out to have any sort of chance.

8. Tennessee Volunteers

Totally schizo team.

9. Mississippi Rebels

Probably NIT bound.

10. Auburn Tigers

Really marginal shot at the NIT. Needs to finish strong. Regardless, Barbee has done a good job with them.

11. Georgia Bulldogs

Loss to South Carolina wasn't pretty, needless to say.

12. South Carolina Gamecocks

Followed up surprising win over UGA with a ugly loss to LSU. It's been that kind of season in Columbia.
