Phil Kornblut thinks the tea-leaves are indicating a quick decision on naming Ray Tanner as South Carolina's new athletic director. It's out of my hands, but I hope we don't head in this direction. I want Tanner coaching USC baseball for many more years, and I would prefer an athletics administration professional to be named to the A.D.'s office.
