Could there be any doubt at this point?
2. LSU Tigers
Dominant so far, but untested.
An uneven-yet-dominant performance against FAU. Defense seems to give up a lot of big plays. Offense looks sharp.
Gamecocks need to address QB and secondary concerns if they're going to compete for a conference championship.
Better than last year, but how much? Second-half grit against overmatched opponents doesn't tell us quite enough.
Struggled a bit in game at Troy. I'm going to ascribe that to the fact that they played AT Troy.
Not a bad job beating Arizona St. with their star QB not playing.
Maybe a little better than last year, but the Gators showed that most of last year's problems still remain: no running game, poor second-half team, etc.
9. Texas A&M Aggies
Dominated SMU over the weekend. Sadly, many of the teams below this point can't say nearly as much for themselves.
Surprisingly, there's now a QB controversy in Nashville.
11. Auburn Tigers
At least they didn't actually lose to LA Monroe.
12. Ole Miss Rebels
Showed a little more offensive spark than I expected against Texas. Defense is awful, though.
A truly epic fall from grace. I'm not sure I've ever seen a preseason top-10 team play this badly. The Pigs are in big trouble and may be looking at a four- or five-win season when you consider the upcoming schedule.
Yeah, I'd say Joker is done.
