The big news yesterday was Kentucky's loss to Vandy at Memorial Gym. I didn't get to watch the game, but from the sounds of it a good game by Vandy, a little Memorial Magic courtesy of some home-cookin' refs, and not having Pat Patterson did the Cats in, although I'm sure that most of the Kentucky fanbase is ready to ride Billy Gillispie out on a rail as we speak. At any rate, we now have a chance to take sole possession of first place in the East with a win in Starkville as well as to solidy our spot ahead of Kentucky in the minds of the folk at the NCAA. A win tonight isn't absolutely necessary, but it would certainly be nice as it would put is in a very good position for the home stretch.
Not sure if there's any way for me to watch the game this time around, so I probably won't be able to provide updates. But if you want to come by and comment, please do.
