Well, let me start off by saying that I don't think he's a bad player to take a chance on...

Although serviceable, his performance on the field was never overwhelming. That could be as much because we’ve suffered from bad line coaching than anything else, though. He does have a nice, NFL-type body, which is probably why you signed him, so perhaps with better coaching he could end up being a decent player in a couple of years. He’s also a good kid, from all I’ve ever heard about him. Hard worker, never got into trouble, etc. One knock, as I mentioned in the article I linked at Arrowhead Pride, is that he suffered a really bad knee injury last year. He recovered nicely, but you have to worry about his knee’s durability down the road.

Hopefully Feathered Warrior or Flounder or someone else will come weigh in, too.

BTW...

He hurt his knee after an Eric Berry interception in 2008. One that always made us mad, BTW, as there was clearly a UT player offsides on the play and, as far as I could tell, Garcia was just chucking the ball down the field, looking for a free play.

Sorry, last day of finals and Cinco de Mayo interceded.

But to be honest, I don’t really have any strong feelings or stories about Lemual… The only thing that comes to mind was that he had a bit of a problem with injuries.

I don't know. I find that surprising.

Considering how crappy our line was at points, I always thought Lem was a standout…when he was actually playing.
