1. LSU Tigers
LSU's offensive explosion against Florida only further serves to show that this is likely the best in the nation.
The Tide aren't far behind LSU, and they get the Tigers at home in what is certainly going to be a game of nearly epic proportions.
Despite getting throttled by Alabama, the Hogs clearly have the look of the third-best team in the SEC.
If Connor Shaw continues to play well for South Carolina, this team should be very strong down the stretch.
After it's solid win over South Carolina in week five, the Tigers fell off with a throttling at the hands of Arkansas in week six. Next week's game against Florida should be an interesting measure of this team.
Are the Gators as bad as they've looked over the past two weeks, or are Alabama and LSU just that good?
Nice win for the Dawgs at Tennessee. The schedule sets up nicely from here on out for UGA to win a lot of games. The Florida game will be the key for them.
The Vols will now not only be without Justin Hunter; they've also lost Tyler Bray for the meat of their schedule. I expect them to struggle from here on out.
The Bulldogs struggled against another CUSA patsy this past week. Can they right the ship against South Carolina this coming Saturday?
Predictably, Vandy got clobbered by Alabama. I wouldn't make too much of that result. I still say this team has a solid chance to make a bowl.
The Rebels were off this week.
This is a pathetically bad team. No other way to put it.
