SB Nation Blogpoll Draft Ballot: Week Ten

Let me know your thoughts on my draft.

1. LSU Tigers
2. Stanford Cardinal
3. Oklahoma St. Cowboys
4. Boise St. Broncos
5. Alabama Crimson Tide

No major surprises here. I will say that if it comes to having to choose between Alabama and Boise for a spot in the title game, I will be rooting for Boise. I don't believe in rematches. Alabama got its shot last night and blew it. I'll also say that I like Stanford more than OSU. OSU had its hands full with K-State, which I think is very overrated.

6. Oklahoma Sooners
7. Oregon Ducks
8. Arkansas Razorbacks
9. Clemson Tigers
10. Houston Cougars

No real surprises here, either. Oklahoma, Oregon, and Arkansas are each dark-horse title contenders. I don't really know if Clemson has a shot to get into the title race because it doesn't have any chances down the stretch for a marquee win. I don't really think Houston is the tenth-best team in the nation, but you have to put them somewhere.

11. Penn St. Nittany Lions
12. South Carolina Gamecocks
13. Michigan St. Spartans
14. Georgia Bulldogs
15. Virginia Tech Hokies

We begin here with a rogue's gallery of good but flawed teams. Penn St. is an interesting case. With three marquee games down the stretch, the Nittany Lions have an opportunity to work their way into the national limelight. They have the defense to do it, but I'm not sure about their offense. I'm not dropping the Gamecocks too far because the team they lost to is solid. MSU and UGA are both good teams with a chance to move up. VA Tech is very overrated, but I guess you have to give them some credit for taking care of business. It will be interesting to see how they do against GT next week.

16. Wisconsin Badgers
17. Southern Cal Trojans
18. Kansas State Wildcats
19. Nebraska Cornhuskers
20. Georgia Tech Yellowjackets

More two-loss teams. I think Wisconsin and SoCal are the best out of this group, although Wisconsin's inconsistency gives me pause. The other three are all pretty average for various reasons.

21. Southern Miss. Golden Eagles
22. Auburn Tigers
23. Michigan Wolverines
24. Cincinnati Bearcats
25. Texas Longhorns

Take your pick. I have no idea if any of these teams are actually any good. Most have some good wins and bad losses.
