Gamecocks Battle In-State Rival Tigers In Weekend Home, Neutral, Away Series

At 7:00 p.m. this evening, #4 South Carolina (6-0) will begin play at home against #12 Clemson (5-1) in the first of the weekend's three games between the two schools. Tomorrow, the Gamecocks and Tigers meet at 4:15 p.m. on Fluor Field in Greenville, SC (dubbed the Reedy River Rivalry Game) before the series is capped in Clemson on Sunday, with the first pitch of the finale scheduled to be thrown at 2:00 p.m. The last time the two rivals met, Carolina sent Clemson home from Omaha - for the second time (2002, 2010) - en route to the Gamecocks' first ever NCAA Baseball National Championship.
