2011 SEC Coaches Preseason All-SEC Team > SEC > NEWS

Points to note:

-Carolina ties with Georgia for an East-best nine total players.
-Stephen Garcia makes the second team. Remember that Phil Steele left him off altogether when he released his lists a few weeks ago, placing guys like Tyler Bray and John Brantley ahead of Stephen. My guess is that Steele didn't include Garcia because of the suspension. As crazy as it sounds, I think Garcia has a very real chance to compete for first-team All-SEC in a year with few shoe-ins at QB. Murray will be tough to beat, but Garcia has experience and better weapons. Murray without A.J. Green may not be the Murray we're used to.
-No T.J. Johnson? Doubt that holds up until the post-season.
