Lady Gamecock Basketball
Gamecocksonline: Gamecocks Score 20th Win, 69-55 Over Alabama. Not all the news from Tuscaloosa was good - "[Aleighsha] Welch left the game in the second half with a right knee injury. Initial report from medical director Dr. Jeffery Guy was a sprain. She will be further evaluated when the team returns to Columbia."
Gamecock Anthem: WBB: Tournament watch.

The Rubber Chickens: We Have No Objection, Your Honor. TBone thinks we did the equivalent of a plea-bargain deal with the NCAA Committee on Infractions last week, and says we can "relax". I won't relax until the fat lady sings on this production, and I'm not nearly as sanguine as he is that the outcome will be favorable. I'm particularly worried that nothing has come out after the meeting ... no articles, no pressers, no comments - no nothing. Did it go well? Was there any hostility from any of the COI members? How much time was spent dealing with the "repeat offender" issue? All this is very troubling to me.
Bleacher Report: Flounder gives us 1 Reason Why Gamecocks Beat Every Opponent.
Charlotte Observer: Salaries spiral for USC coaches. "It pays to be a coach at the University of South Carolina." (Psssst - you hear that, Gregg Marshall? There's plenty more where that came from.)
NBC Sports: John Taylor reports that USC is one of four SEC schools the mix for the future services of Norcross, GA native and recently-released Maryland Terrapin OL Max Garcia, though right now it appears Garcia may be most keen on UGA and UF.
Gamecock Central: SEC Tournament Watch.
Gamecocksonline: Gamecocks Post 15-3 Win over Villanova. A nice bounce-back win after dropping two close ones (7-6 to Jacksonville, and 3-2 to FIU) at FIU's Blue & Gold Feisberg Tournament - this win put us 2-and-2 in the weekend tourney, and Head Coach Beverly Smith's squad is now 6-3 on the young season.
So Fried Sports: Way too Many Disciplinary Issues in SEC.
Saturday Down South: SEC Football Roundup: February 20.
Team Speed Kills: SEC Had Higher than Estimated Record Payout in 2010-11. If there is any extra cash coming to the USC coffers, then I know just where to spend it .
