Gamecock Central: David Cloninger posts a USC-Florida Hoops Extra.
Spurs Up Blog: "Inside The Chart" with Andy Demetra (@GamecockRadio) - February 3, 2012. Andy is really establishing himself as an authoritative voice on Gamecock hoops.
KentuckySports.com: Kentucky wary of Gamecocks as higher-profile games loom. The view from the Bluegrass State.
Gamecocksonline: Men's Hoops Set To Host No. 1/1 Kentucky Saturday. News, notes and video q&a with Coach Horn.
LifeofaGamecock: Grady Brown from Southern Miss hired to Gamecock coaching staff. Do ya think the HBC enjoyed sticking it just a little to Ellis Johnson?
GoGamecocks: Grady Brown final piece of Gamecocks coaching puzzle. Ellis apparently encouraged Grady to take the job; that was big of him.
The Big Spur: Brown hired as defensive assistant. Don't skip the q&a section with the TBS staff and Brown that really makes this piece.
NBC Sports: Ben Kercheval has tongue planted firmly in cheek when he says Urban Meyer would approve of our swiping Grady Brown from USM.
Leftover Hotdog: Flounder analyzes the signees on Offense.
Gamecock Central: Scott Hood explains how the HBC believes hiring younger, up-and-coming coaches is the best track to follow. Amen. He also reports that Coach Shawn Elliot is pleased with O-Line signees. Sweet music to my ears!
Post & Courier: ACC, SEC fans eyed for tourism. Yes, by all means - give us your money and then proceed home in ignominious defeat.
Gamecock Central: Dantzler, Greiner sizzle in scrimmage. Tremendous lede from Scott Hood - "LB Dantzler is turning into a cyborg at the plate." Folks, I think we've found our new third baseman. More cyborgs, please.

GoGamecocks: Andy Shain - Gamecocks in search of more history.
Spurs Up Blog: Staley, Sutton Reflect on Gamecocks' Landmark Victory.
CBS Sports: B1G pillow fight continues. Quick! Someone get Jim Delany to break it up before someone gets hurt! Urban is so mean! In my opinion, Bret Bielema is a whiny jerk who runs the score up on lesser opponents every chance he gets, so he is the last guy I need to be hearing from about coaching ethics and gentlemanly behavior (remember the Badgers hanging 83 points on Indiana?); I expected better from Mark Dantonio than to join the whining emanating from Madison, but will forgive him because he's a Gamecock. Columnist Bruce Feldman thinks Big Ten recruiting drama will add to season intrigue. I remember when off-the-field "drama" had a pejorative context.
NBC Sports: For his part at least, Dantonio seems to be dialing back some of the whining - Mark Dantonio clarifies ‘unethical’ comments. Bielema, on the other hand, appears to be doubling down on his crybaby act even though his boss and predecessor, Barry Alvarez, has publicly stated he doesn't have a problem with Meyer.
Team Speed Kills: Year2 explains that the B1G's post-NSD angst stems from the fact that Urban Meyer Has Some In the Big Ten Feeling Threatened.
Mr SEC: Brett Bielema says "we at the Big Ten don't want to be like the SEC - in any way, shape or form." In reply, John Pennington offers him some sympathetic words - Fair enough. Then just keep losing your January bowl games, Bret.
SI.com: Andy Staples has figured out what's going on in this rust belt contretemps- Operation Bratwurst just the start of Urbanator 1000's sinister plot. Prepare to be assimilated.
