Holy crap, a thought just came to me - what if Gus Johnson had been calling the Outback Bowl? That woulda been GOLD.

Non-Clowney Gamecock Football
Sanders leaning towards entering the draft
Selfishly, this is unfortunate, but it shouldn't be completely unexpected. If you're going to go out on top, it's hard to get much higher than 9 catches, 92 yards, 2 receiving touchdowns, and a 63-yard punt return for a third TD. I don't know enough about the NFL to tell you whether or not that 3rd round projection is legit, but, if it is, it would be hard to find fault in the decision.
Capital One Bowl: Taylor Martinez Has Trouble Reading the Scoreboard - Team Speed Kills

Apparently, Dylan Thompson's game-winning touchdown pass was Spurrier's version of the 4 Verts play made famous by the Air Raid offense:

David Williams has made his college decision (The Big Spur, subscription required)
Four-star running back David Williams, the top target on South Carolina's board at that position, has made a decision. Williams has long been considered a Gamecock lean and will reveal his choice during Friday's Semper Fidelis Bowl.
Jonathan King, who the Gamecocks would like to bring into the fold as a preferred walk-on, picks up a national honor:

With numbers being tight in this class, USC isn't in a position to offer, which could lead to King being snatched up by a lower-tier school.
