Auburn knocks off Georgia, Gamecocks stay alive in the SEC East

Auburn's win over Georgia keeps South Carolina alive in the SEC East but shortened our lifespans in the process.

For several minutes it looked like Georgia was going to end South Carolina's aspirations of earning an appearance in the SEC Championship Game. Never did the Gamecocks' hopes appear more dire than when Auburn faced 4th & 18, done one point with less than a minute to go. That's when Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall dropped back to pass and came up with this.

Now, all South Carolina needs to do is beat Florida (come chat about the game with us right here) and have Missouri lose to either Ole Miss or Texas A&M.
