The fine folks at Hampton are sending The Feathered Warrior and me to Tuscaloosa to experience gameday at Bryant-Denny Stadium this weekend, where the Crimson Tide will be committing unspeakable acts of football-related cruelty against the Chattanooga Mocs of the mighty Southern Conference. While we're there, we will be steeping ourselves in the tradition and culture of Alabama football in an effort to connect with the spirit of The Bear and get too full of 'Bama.

We'll be checking in here on the blog and on Twitter and Facebook throughout the weekend to keep you apprised of our progress. Our friends at SB Nation's Crimson Tide community Roll Bama Roll put together this itinerary to help us ensure that we get the most out of our experience.

We're set to arrive during mid-afternoon on Friday, at which point we'll check in to our luxurious hotel accommodations at the Tuscaloosa Hampton Inn. I'll probably try to get a run in so that I don't feel so terrible about consuming all of the delicious-sounding food and drink recommendations we've received.

Last weekend, Roll Bama Roll was in Columbia to witness South Carolina's 19-14 win over Florida. Click here to read about their experience visiting Williams-Brice Stadium.

If you'd like to book a stay with Hampton, click here to learn more. (They're really rolling out the red carpet for us to ensure that we're able to fully experience everything that Tuscaloosa has to offer, and I've had nothing but excellent experiences with them in the past). Check out Hampton on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Roll Tide.
