Brock Stadnik
Redshirt Freshman Offensive Guard
6'5", 291 lbs.
Greensboro, NC
Recruitment:
4 stars, 18th overall offensive tackle in the 2012 class
Other offers: Auburn, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Maryland, N.C. State, North Carolina, Stanford, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest
College Career:
Stadnik redshirted in 2012 while recovering from shoulder surgery.
2013 Outlook:
That Brock Stadnik, a former Under Armour All-American, isn't being immediately thrust into a starting role is a testament to the depth that South Carolina has been able to build along the offensive line since line coach/run game co-ordinator Shawn Elliott arrived in 2010. Instead, the redshirt freshman will enter 2013 backing up the stalwart A.J. Cann at left guard.
It would stand to reason that Coach Elliott will seek to give Stadnik as many meaningful snaps as the score and opponent will allow because Brock will be a leading candidate to step in and replace Ronald Patrick at right guard in 2014.
Trivia:
Brock and twin brother Stadnik are the third pair of twins to play at South Carolina in the past decade, joining Casper and Jasper Brinkley and Jordin and Dustin Lindsey.
Now I get to spend a few days wondering why I burned the twins trivia on Brock instead of Clayton.
Social media scouting report:

Possible Todd Ellis play-by-play call:
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Brock Stadnik was pulling on the power play to the strong side of the field and BOOM! He just ANNIHILATED Jordan Jenkins. Look out, bulldogs, because Mr. Stadnik wants to BROCK YOU ALL NIGHT LONG.
