ESPN has ranked the Top 25 games in the 2012 season and fans will once again decide the order of the Top 5. ESPNU will air an 11-day marathon of games within the list starting with No. 25 on Wednesday, July 17, Nebraska vs. Northwestern. The order of the Top 5 games will be decided by fans through a SportsNation poll on ESPN.com.
An ESPN stats & info team, led by ESPN college football research analyst Brad Edwards, determined No.25-6 to be as follows:
25. Nebraska vs. Northwestern (game highlight)
24. BYU vs. Utah (game highlight)
22. Ole Miss vs. LSU (post game presser – Les Miles)
20. North Carolina State vs. Miami (game highlight)
19. Gildan New Mexico Bowl: Nevada vs. Arizona (game highlight)
18. Oklahoma vs. West Virginia
17. Florida State vs. North Carolina State (game highlight)
16. Nebraska vs. Michigan State (game highlight)
15. Oklahoma State vs. Oklahoma (game highlight)
13. Louisiana-Monroe vs. Arkansas (game highlight)
10. Purdue vs. Ohio State (game highlight)
8. Texas A&M vs. Louisiana Tech (game highlight)

- Texas A&M vs. Alabama (game highlight)
- Outback Bowl: South Carolina vs. Michigan (game highlight)
- Alabama vs. LSU
- Stanford vs. Oregon (game highlight)
- Alabama vs. Georgia: SEC Championship
