Partnership will help raise money for Healthy Learners.

Some of you might be interested in the following press release regarding FanTree and our favored son Marcus Lattimore:

Dallas, Texas (August 8, 2013) – FanTree is excited to announce its partnership with South Carolina Gamecock legend and current San Francisco 49er Marcus Lattimore.  As part of the partnership, FanTree will create a line of exclusive Marcus Lattimore branded products, promote them via social media and sell them through flash sales on FanTree’s website, www.TheFanTree.com. Proceeds from the sale of these products will help support Healthy Learners, an organization in Lattimore’s home state of South Carolina that connects children to care so that poor health is not an obstacle to doing well in school.

"Next to God and my family, my fans have been my biggest inspiration throughout my career," says Lattimore. "FanTree gives me a chance to not only give back to them for all of their love and support, but to also help an awesome charity in South Carolina like Healthy Learners. It’s a win-win for everyone."

Lattimore’s stellar college career, one in which he earned the 2010 SEC Freshman of the Year Award, SEC First Team All American honors and set several South Carolina school records, was cut short after the second of two devastating knee injuries suffered in college. His recovery has been labeled nothing short of miraculous, serving as an inspiration for fans in all walks of life.

"The relationship between Marcus and his fans in South Carolina is like nothing I have ever seen," says TK Stohlman, FanTree’s Chief Executive Officer. "His determination and strength of character have earned him respect, admiration and loyalty in the sports world and beyond."

FanTree offers partner athletes a one-stop shop for in-house design, production, promotion and distribution, allowing athletes to take full control of their branding, manage their revenue and, if they choose, raise money for their favorite charities. Other partners include Jozy Altidore, star striker for the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team, and Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets.
