"Gamecocking?"

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

TFP:  I was listening yesterday to Mark Packer's afternoon show on Sirus-XM 91 College Sports Nation, in which he had ESPN's Rece Davis on as a guest.  The Packman - a CU grad - couldn't help but work in a reference to  'Gamecocking' during the discussion.  Davis didn't rise to the bait, but he didn't contest the term, either.  Get ready to hear a lot more about "Gamecocking" and "Cock Flopping" - especially from our Clemson friends - unless and until the HBC and Whammy Ward can hold onto two-score, 4th quarter leads in the future.  Maybe the best way to do that is for the HBC to embrace the fact that over the past four years he and his staff have recruited for a power running / zone-read team.

The Rubber Chickens: Snap Judgments – 2014 USC @ Kentucky Edition "My position on Thompson after the Kentucky game is this – it is time to get Connor Mitch and/or Perry Orth some snaps in a live game. My change of heart is not because I think Thompson is a terrible quarterback. But, he has made some bad decisions and bad throws in the last two games that have contributed mightily to our demise."   Agreed.   Do you think Dylan Thompson should be benched?  Take the Poll!

In an incident that seems to have been forgotten for the most part due to the dumpster fire that was South Carolina’s fourth quarter defense, Shaq Roland added another chapter to his troubled Gamecocks career by getting himself suspended for Saturday’s game in yet another incident of the junior wide receiver being unable to get out of his own way. - See more at: http://garnetreport.com/roland-get-your-head-out-of-your-shaq/#sthash.OKnjsOBB.dpuf
