Marcus Lattimore announced his retirement on Wednesday, and while the announcement certainly led to feelings of sadness throughout the Gamecock, 49er, and football community, it also led to an outpouring of love and support for the former Gamecock running back.
A fully healthy Marcus Lattimore dumptrucking fools with reckless abandon. It was too beautiful.

There’s unfair, there’s grossly unfair, then there’s how Marcus Lattimore’s career went. What a damned shame.

Haven't covered a better overall person than Marcus Lattimore. Often gave so much of himself to others in need coaches had to pull him back.
