SEC Power Poll Ballot: Week Eleven

New, 3 comments

How does the SEC stack up after eleven weeks?

Chris Graythen

1. Mississippi St. Bulldogs

Can the Bulldogs continue their dream season this weekend with a road trip to take on Alabama?

2. Alabama Crimson Tide

They got some help from a mistake-prone LSU team that couldn't seal the upset bid, but the Tide escaped Death Valley in control of their destiny as they push toward the post-season.

3. Auburn Tigers

After losing to Texas A&M, the Tigers no longer control their destiny and will need help to make it to the playoffs.

4. Ole Miss Rebels

In addition to winning out, the Rebels need Auburn to lose to Georgia and then for Alabama to beat Auburn in order to make it to Atlanta.

5. Georgia Bulldogs

The Dawgs get Todd Gurley back for this weekend's showdown against Auburn.

6. LSU Tigers

The Tigers appeared to have a victory over Alabama all but wrapped up when they recovered a Tide fumble on the 'Bama five-yard line with a minute to play, but a series of mistakes from that point stymied their upset bid.

7. Texas A&M Aggies

Left for dead after nearly losing to Louisiana-Monroe last week, the Aggies rebounded for another Sumlin road upset special over Auburn.

8. Arkansas Razorbacks

The Hogs got a week off to prepare for an LSU team that may be reeling after coming up just short against Alabama. Good opportunity for the Hogs to finally break through.

9. Missouri Tigers

The Tigers currently control their destiny in the SEC East, but they have a tough test with a road trip to Texas A&M this weekend.

10. Florida Gators

The Gators continued their resurgence with an easy win over Vanderbilt.

11. Kentucky Wildcats

A once-promising Kentucky season is on the brink after another disappointing performance, this time to UGA.

12. Tennessee Volunteers

The Vols took the week off to prepare for a visit from Kentucky.

13. South Carolina Gamecocks

Can the Gamecocks salvage any of their season by beating Florida in Gainesville this weekend?

14. Vanderbilt Commodores

The 'Dores weren't able to get much of anything going against Florida.
