After another weekend sweep, the 15-0 Gamecocks will face Furman in Columbia on Tuesday night. The Gamecocks are 109-54-2 against Furman all-time.
The Furman Paladins are a member of the Southern Conference and today's game is the first of two meetings between the teams this season. The Paladins are off to a 6-9 start on the year. They are hitting .284 as a team with an on-base percentage of .351. Their team ERA is 5.20 and opponents are hitting .281 against them.
The South Carolina offense is now hitting .320 and has an on-base percentage of .409. The Gamecocks continue to pitch at a very high level, recording three more shutouts in the weekend sweep of Brown.
