Four-star small forward Josh Cunningham will announce his college decision on or after April 21. The 6'6 prospect had originally planned to commit on April 18, but his high school is closed and won't be available to host his commitment ceremony.
His coach said Monday night Cunningham will not make an announcement Friday afternoon at Morgan Park High School as planned because the school is closed this week and the gym won't be available. Coach Nick Irvan said the announcement will now be made next week, possibly on Monday, but that's not definite at this point. This delay means Cunningham probably will get the chance to make an unofficial visit to DePaul before making his decision. The dead period this week would have prevented him from getting to DePaul before a Friday announcement.
Cunningham's 247Sports Crystal Ball projection has 50 percent picking him to sign with Indiana, 27 percent picking him to sign with Bradley, and 23 choosing the Gamecocks as his most likely destination. The five most recent predictions are all for South Carolina.
