One. More. Day.

Grant Halverson

TFP - One.

Fox Sports: Gamecocks LB Moore won't start opener.   It's a disciplinary thing for missing a shoulder therapy session.  It's not even a benching, so much as being held out as a starter - nothing more, nothing less. We should see Skai on the field early - hopefully no later than A&M's second possession.

Gamecocksonline: Gamecocks Make Final Preparations For Thursday's Opener.

Gamecock Pride: Ward's Confident in the Defense.  Amber also confirms the reports floating around yesterday that DeVonte’ Holloman will officially be joining the South Carolina staff next week.  Maybe a silver lining to a NFL career that ended too soon.

Dallas Morning News Spurrier concerned about blocking A&M's Myles Garrett when he 'comes roaring off the end' plus DeVonte Holloman: Playing in NFL is 'a dream fulfilled' despite career-ending injury.

BennettRank: An interesting site that we just heard from.   Check out both their South Carolina Football South Carolina Football Season Preview and comprehensive Top 25 Preview.

Garnet & Cocky: Chris Carey does another Q&A with Good Bull Hunting and Sydney confirms that Busta Anderson will play against the Aggies, along with Mike Davis.

Rant: Texas A&M vs South Carolina: Health of Mike Davis Key for Gamecocks.

Bleacher Report: Texas A&M vs. South Carolina: Key Matchups to Watch.

Team Speed Kills: What if Texas A&M Beats South Carolina? "The most obvious thing is that it gives Georgia a leg up in the SEC East race." Yep.  Probably won't affect the West outcome, but immediately gives UGA and Mizzou the inside lane.

247: J.C. Shurburtt wonders are the Cocks going to the playoffs? With so many question marks, all this early hype about playoffs sets me on edge.  We have serious business to attend to on Thursday night.

Myrtle Beach Sun: Carolina Super Fans: These Gamecocks are loud and proud.

Sportstalksc: Ex-Summerville CB Darrin Smalls is recuperating from a knee injury but is caught in Clearinghouse Hell as he works to get enrolled at USC.

Gamecock Cereal: Another Streak on the Line.  Rixon recaps our four opening day victories against SEC foes with video highlights.

Chattanooga Times Free Press: South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier looms over SEC Network's first game.  Both literally and figuratively.

MrSEC.com: SEC Openers More Important Than Ever?

Sporting News: Bo or Herschel? A never-ending debate.  Two superstars for the ages, yes, but I will still take our own Heisman winner - George Rogers.

Dr. Saturday: Stay classy - Tennessee sends recruit a Photoshop of him with Beyonce.

The Big Lead: Doubts about the veracity of Southern Cal CB Josh Shaw's heroism?  I sincerely hope his story is true, but there are parts that don't seem to add up.

Yahoo! Sports: Ruh-roh Shaggy - North Carolina investigating alleged hazing incident with football team.

Patrick Davis: My Carolina - great song with video by Justin King.   Justin has tweeted that he's got a new USC football ready almost ready to go.  He adds: "I should say this: New video is not like anything I've ever done before and it's probably not what most people are expecting...but i'm proud."  Can't wait.

Saturday Down South: In the meantime, Justin does have a new video at SDS about our D.T. -  Faith, Family, Football: South Carolina QB Dylan Thompson.

Daily Gamecock: Men's golf to begin season in California and  Cross country optimistic entering 2014.  Another top-notch set of writers at The Daily Gamecock.
