The Big Spur: Gamecocks stun Tigers, take first in rivalry season by John Whittle.  We were out-shot 24-6 and played a man down most of the second half before winning in OT (103') - couldn't have dialed it up any better!  Also - UGA's defense working ahead during bye week. The Dawgs could not have dialed it up any better, either.  Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb are going to need to collide into each other in some sort of strange training table mashup before I will be upbeat about hosting the Silver Britches in two weeks.

Palmetto Recruiting: USC drops committed WR Bowman following his arrest.  Super-disappointing. Got to figure this ends any chance of recruiting his brother, also.

NBC Sports: From the presser - Spurrier on Mike Davis: ‘good chance he’ll play’.  I'm getting tired of the "will he, won't he" from the HBC on this issue.  If Davis needs time to heal, then give him time to heal.  Let's put some pressure on David Williams, Brandon Wilds and Shon Carson to get it done against ECU.
