Not a lot of movement here, as few meaningful games were played. The only swap I made was to move Mizzou ahead of Tennessee after Mizzou played well against what was supposed to be a good Toledo team and the Vols struggled against Arkansas St.
UGA took a week off between its games against Palmetto State foes Clemson and South Carolina.
2. Texas A&M Aggies
Texas A&M lit up the score board against overmatched Lamar.
3. LSU Tigers
LSU dominated overmatched Sam Houston State.
Alabama beat FAU 41-0 in a game that could have been uglier if not for the fact that the game was called off early due to bad weather.
Auburn made short work of San Jose State.
Bo Wallace had one of his most impressive performances to date during Ole Miss's romp over struggling Vandy.
South Carolina looked moderately better against ECU than it did during its disastrous opening loss to Texas A&M, but the Gamecocks hardly looked like a contender for a conference title.
The Bulldogs struggled early against UAB before blowing the game open in the third quarter.
The Gators ended their losing streak in style by beating up on MAC cellar-dweller Eastern Michigan. Next week's game against Kentucky might be a bit more telling.
10. Missouri Tigers
After a lackluster opener, Mizzou looked much better in crushing a solid Toledo team. Maty Mauk threw for five touchdowns and averaged over 10 yards per attempt.
The Vols struggled to pull away in their game against Arkansas St. I caught parts of this game and, as expected, noted that UT's young offensive line struggles to open holes for the Vols tailbacks. UT gained only 3.7 yards per carry in the contest.
The Hogs blew out overmatched Nicholls St. I caught a few minutes of this game and think Brandon Allen, who also played well in the first half against Auburn, has been better than expected this year, which should give Arkansas fans hope.
Kentucky never pulled away but won fairly convincingly over Ohio, which is generally a solid MAC program.
The 'Dores were blown out at home by Ole Miss in a game where Ole Miss outgained Vandy by nearly 400 yards. This appears to be by the far the worst Vandy team in many years.
