Stadium Journey Ranks Carolina Stadium as the Best Venue in College Baseball

Stadium Journey released their rankings of the top stadium experiences for 2014 last week and ranked Carolina Stadium as the 9th overall experience and the top college baseball experience in the country. The next college baseball venue on the list is TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, which comes in at 14th. No other college baseball team has their home stadium appear on the list until the Miami Hurricanes at 27th and there are no other college baseball venues in the top 50.

The review of Carolina Stadium praises just about every aspect of the Gamecock baseball experience. The food, atmosphere, and fans all get 5 stars and the review closes by saying that "There's just something about Carolina Stadium that feels like what baseball is all about." There's no question that the ranking is well-deserved; Carolina Stadium is a beautiful ballpark and is home to one of the country's best college baseball programs.

There will be plenty of opportunities for fans to enjoy the great atmosphere at Carolina Stadium for themselves soon, as opening weekend is only a month away and there are plenty of huge home series on the schedule for the 2015 season.
